Watercolor Society Painting

new painting started. I will be putting up the progress on the blog.

The tree

I am still learning the ways of digital painting. Although many people would suggest I do things in the program differently, I tend to choose what I feel makes me most comfortable.
In this certain piece, I basically drew everything and painting everything on the same layer. I used a lot of the smudge tool and selected certain areas to manipulate the color balance.
all in all, I feel this piece shows what I can bring to the digital ways of art using mostly traditional practices.
word.

Digital World

so I started doing a lot of digital stuff, I think I'm getting the hang of it. I still feel like digital lacks a certain feeling that you get from traditional. The pro is that you dont need supplies.
this is just a quick digital sketch i did. hope you like it.
